By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Service.

Service Description

Akari is AI-powered content creation desktop software. Video editing (cuts, timeline, export) and local transcription are free. Cloud features — generative AI (images, video, audio), cloud transcription, and AI proxy execution — run on prepaid credits, offered through monthly subscriptions (Pro / Max) or top-up packs.

Subscription and Billing

Paid plans (Pro: $19/mo, Max: $59/mo) are billed monthly. Payment and the Merchant of Record is Polar Software Inc. Subscriptions renew automatically each month and can be canceled anytime; the service remains available until the end of the current billing period. Prices and plan contents may change with prior notice.

Credits

Cloud generative-AI features consume "credits" ($1 = 100 credits). Credits granted monthly with a subscription expire within that billing period and do not roll over. Top-up packs are available to subscribers only and remain valid for 180 days. Credits have no cash value and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-redeemable. AI-Generated Content

Rights to and permitted use of AI-generated output follow the terms of each foundation-model provider and applicable law. You are responsible for how you use generated content. Failed generation jobs are not charged. Using generative AI for unlawful, infringing, or otherwise prohibited purposes is not permitted.

License

Intellectual property rights in the software and cloud services belong to us. Licenses for third-party software used by the app are listed within the app.

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. We are not liable for damages arising from the use of the Service to the maximum extent permitted by law.
